The Killing Floor

ArtsWest Seattle 2017 Exhibition
On January 19th, 2017 my exhibition with Patty Haller at ArtsWest, Seattle entitled "The Epic and the Puny" will open. www.artswest.org/gallery/ The official opening is February 9th from 5:30-7:15 pm. The exhibition closes March 25th. Gallery hours are Thurs/Friday 2-7, Saturday 2-6 and Sundays one hour before the box office opens.
I recently completed an installation for the Spaceworks Tacoma program at the corner of 11th and Broadway at the Woolworth building. If you are driving through Tacoma let me know what you think! It will be up through November, 2016.

Soaring Gardens Artist Residency
I just returned from a residency at Soaring Gardens in Laceyville, PA, with my fellow School 33 Artist, Jowita Wyszomirska. It was lovely and I highly recommend it.
This July, 2013, I will be an artist/scholar consortium resident at the Studio Art Center International in Florence, Italy.

My work is being shown in the international wing of the Baltimore-Washington Airport from September 22, 2012- January 3, 2013. The show, entitled Stroke: Gesture, Mark, Muscle, is curated by Rene Trevino and will also feature the work of Sean McDonough and Ann Rentschler. The opening reception is Nov. 2nd from 4:30-6:30 pm.
Hood College Exhibition
I am in a two-person show entitled "Legend" with Baltimore-based artist James Williams at Hood College's Hodson Gallery in Frederick, MD from October 17-November 18, 2012. The opening is October 19th from 5-7 pm, with an artist talk at 5:30.
I am a Sondheim Semi-Finalist, and my work will be shown at the Fox Galleries at MICA from July 20-August 5 with the other semi-finalists as part of Artspace, Baltimore's free outdoor arts festival.
Brenner Faculty Grant
I was recently awarded a Brenner Faculty Travel Grant through the Maryland Institute College of Art for my residency at the Burren College of Art. The Burren College of Art is affiliated with the Association of Independent College of Art and Design (AICAD) that MICA is a part of.
Maryland Department of Public Health Laboratory
I was just awarded my first major public art commission from the Maryland Department of Public Health, to be installed in 2014 in their new laboratory in East Baltimore.
Burren College of Art
I will be heading to Ireland in May of 2012 as an artist-in-residence at the Burren College of Art.
Vermont Studio Center
I received a full fellowship to the Vermont Studio Center for July 2012.
I am in a 2 person exhibition with artist Bobby English at the Subbasement Studios in Baltimore. The exhibition runs from September 23, 2011 until October 29, 2011, which an opening reception September 24, 2011 from 7-9 pm.
Starting in September I will be an artist-in-residence at School 33 Art Center.

I received a fellowship to the Jentel Program in Banner, Wyoming for July-August 2011.
